ok i have pest patrol on my computer and it runs now in the past few days it came up saying it has found a pest which i thought was some other site but low and below it was mine does anybody know why this is happening when i go onto my site?

Hi. I am wondering if it is possible to transfer files from my angelfire account back to a computer. My situation: I have uploaded some files to angelfire and I would like to "download" them to another computer (from that computer). Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated.

i wanted to know if i used dreamweaver to make my website, can i still use an ftp to upload it to angelfire?
i've seen its possible with frontpage, but no link for dreamweaver.

I downloaded a free layout from oritsuru.com. i use notepad to edit the text on it. I recently joined angelfire and uploaded this layout to it to create my site. The thing is, all the images are fine offline, but online none of them appear, its just a space where the images shud be and a red cross in the corner! what do i do, i need desperate help so i can release my site before December..PLZ HELP!!!!

I am having trouble getting my website to pull up. Actually this is just the latest problem of a string of problems I have been having. I edit the website in frontpage and it takes 30 minutes for it to upload to angelfire. Now that I saved the info (I think!) I can't open the website to check it. I have not heard back from angelfire help yet and my boss is breathing down my neck to get these changes in. Somebody please HELP ME!

Problems Uploading via FTP

Am I the only person having trouble transferring my webpage data via ftp? I have a script that uploads fresh data every hour, and it's worked flawlessly until a couple weeks ago. Now it takes a little extra time to upload the data, and when it's finished, several of the files have a 0 byte size, i.e. they're corrupted. I changed the ftp location to another service to see if it was on my end, but it works fine. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact AngelFire about problems either.

Please help!! I am trying to post pics of my newborn daughter and she is only 2 days old. . . .I have the Argon service and angelfire customer support will not respond to me for almost a day now. I pay for this every month, and I tried to update my credit card and it locked me out and will not accept any more cards, even though they are good and work at other places. Please help with suggestions or anything else you may be able to do. It looks like angelfire has downgraded me to a free account and is going to start deleting files to get down to 20 MB!!! Angelfire Webmail - New Feature - BETA

The Angelfire team is getting ready to release a new WebMail feature for all members with the "Argon" plan or better. (That is, all plans that come with a domain name.) Although not ready to be announced to the general public yet, it was decided to announce the feature to the Club members first, to get user feedback and to get some more real users on the feature. (This feature is also available to Tripod members with domains and anyone who purchased a stand-alone domain from Lycos Domains. You might even notice that I just cut-n-pasted this whole spiel from the Tripod Club because I am lazy.)

The new feature is a web interface to email, which includes sending outgoing mail which neither Angelfire nor Tripod has supported up to this point. It is similar to, but different than, "Lycos Mail" (mail.lycos.com). It is useful when accessing your email from a computer that is not your own. It can use the same mailbox as one you have configured with Microsoft Outlook or another email program, so you should be able to move between the this and a separate mail program without losing any messages.

If you are interested in trying the beta, you can go to http://webmail.domains.lycos.com. You will see a login and password window. You should login with the email account you want to check, and its password, and *NOT* your Tripod account name. (For example, if you own mycooldomain.com and your email address is 'fred@mycooldomain.com', that would be your login name. The password is the same password you would enter in your email program to read the account.)

If you want to create additional email addresses for playing with, you can do so via your normal "My Account" page. (On the domain tab, when you select into your domain.) At some point in the recent past, we silently increased the number of email addresses most users could have and how much disk space, so you probably should not have trouble creating email addresses to test with, if you don't want to use your own.

The system is not exactly how it will be when completed and there still may be bugs. Please report any problems you see in this thread and the Angelfire team will look into it.

Its been months now and i was hoping to some how ressurect my lost web site, (and its pages and pages of writing, most of which was saved directly on the site!) and nothing seems to be left. Does ANYONE know how to find my lost stuff.

that was my website, but there isnt anything left.

I had it for years and just kept adding to it. It was nice, it had photo links and was set up with frames and everything. I didnt mess with it for about 6 months and when i went to add something to it EVERYTHING was gone.

And thats rediculous because I did a search for a friends old band website from 99 and i know he hasnt touched it since then. and it was also a web based server, i think it actually was angelfire. but the point is, his survived and mine didnt.

WHERE IS MY STUFF?????

Newbie needs help getting started

I am brand new to this, I created a webpage using Microsoft word and now I want to get it up and running. I uploaded the file but now what do I do with it? On that homepage I have links to other pages which I also created on Word. I uploaded those also and once I get my home page up will those links automatically work or do I need to do something else? Thanks for any help.

I have an image as a link to another page that is centered,I want to make it go to the left of the screen. How do I do that? I thought maybe "align=left"blah blah" /align" but it didn't work.I want to put one image left,one centered,and one right. Help!
