How can I change permissions to a file?
Mood:  not sure
I need to change permissions on a file I've uploaded so that it can be written to. I can't figure out how to do it, though I've tried using two different FTP programs. When I tell the FTP programs to change the permissions, one program (WS_FTP Pro) tells me that it just wasn't done, and the other (CoffeeCup Direct FTP) freezes for a minute then disconnects. Please help me!

All files in your directory can be written to-- there is no need to set permissions. All Tripod member files are always readable from the outside world and writable by the owner.
