I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I uploaded a picture onto angelfire, and linked it correctly on my site, but for some reason instead of that picture, I get a picture saying "this image is hosted by angelfire.com". how do i fix this?

Your not doing anything wrong. It is the brain trust at Angelfire. They are blocking remote image linking. Problem is it is also randomly blocking the use of images on actual Angelfire pages too. They are basically cutting off thier nose to spite thier face. They will say it is to keep people from steeling bandwidth, but most people use logos and background images on message boards, guest books, etc. so that everything matches the look and feel of thier site. Now in order to do that you have to upgrade to paid service. What Angelfire does not get is having message boards, etc. as part of your Angelfire page adds value to your site and keeps visitors coming back (to the Angelfire page as well as the other). So, what money they may make from people upgrading to paid service they will lose in ad revenue because people will not visit when there is nothing interesting to see or do and many site creaters will be come irratated (like me) and just give up on thier Angelfire page all together.
In the mean time even the regular old pages will be screwed up until Angelfire gets the bugs out of the remote blocking system. I thought the "Stack Overload" crap was irritating enough but this image crap is even worse ! Even when I am working in the webshell and do a prevue, the background and other images come up blocked.
