The surest way to get your site listed, is to visit:
http://www.google.com/addurl.html
and manually add your URL to their Database.
The other Internet Search Robots will pick up on it,
sooner or later.

There is also a helpful article about Search Engine

Definitely submit your site to google as already suggested. And also to the Open Directory Project (dmoz.org) and Yahoo if you can find the yahoo link for free submissions. I'd personally avoid those multi list submission services as most just want your email address so they can sell it. You'll soon find your mailbox filled with even more spam than you can possibly use.

Before you submit I'd suggest a little editting of your site to make it more attractive to search engines. You have a nice, interesting site BTW :). The index or home page is your most important and is the gateway SE's will use to index your site. Your index page has very little text content that could be used to index you. I see almost nothing that describes what your site contains from reading it. SEs like google read your text content and pick out keywords to define your site. Your second page would serve as a much better index page because it's more descriptive re what your site is about. Some navigation to all your other pages would make it an excellent replacement for your current index.html. Should you try that, you'll need to rename the page to index.html and rewrite your links to and from your other pages.

Good Luck and happy flying :).
