Bravenet has chatroom script to set up on your site

as far as a log in thing you would need to get java sript to use. I have not tried any of these but you can check out the various types here:

do not use any thing that requires php you need perl script...same goes for the chat room script....angelfire does not support php script just perl scripts...

I have used Bravenet Chat Rooms for years now. They work okay, not perfect. Very easy to use and no cost. If you go to my site you'll see how I have incorporated it into my website.
All you do is register, get the HTML code, put it in your webpage and VOILA..it's there.
Many pros and cons that I'll be glad to discuss if you're interested.
