HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: laksdfklasdf
ok.... i just got a website on angelfire like 3 days ago and i am trying to figure it out and having some trouble. i made one main HTML web page and it works fine (the one that you start out with that is called "index.html").
then i made another one (on the same username) and i have no idea how to make it so that you can have both of them on the same site.
this sounds confusing but if you know what i am talking about please post it our email me and let me know because i really want to know how to do this!!!!!
my email is needalittlehelp@hotmail.com
thanks

You can create additional pages for your site by using the Web Shell tool. To create a new file, type the new file name into the Name field (don't forget the .html extension!), be sure the file radio button is selected, and click the Create button. Select your choices and hit the Submit button. You can then use the Basic Editor to customize your new page. The steps you'll need to follow are listed in red on your screen.
then
create some kind of menu or a list of Links or something on that order and add a text link on your new page to your home index page like this....this kind of URL points to your index.html page just replace the appropriate names in the link below to fit you.

<a href="http://angelfire.com /your_name/index.html"> Home Page</a>

and visa versa from homepage create a link to your new page.....etc..

instead of Text link you could use a graphic to use as a link, also.

first on your index.html you have two links you need to add http:// to both of them

now they are like this
www.nba.com/bobcats

the need to like this
http://www.nba.com/bobcats

this is your site address
https://www.angelfire.com/un/gobobcats/
or
https://www.angelfire.com/un/gobobcats/index.html

let us say you created a subpage cats.html

to linke the two pages index.html and cats.html

in the index.html URL block put cats.html and in the text block put any text like bobcats page

to link back from cats.html to the front page index.html
in the URL block put index.html and in the text block type home or anything you want.

I used Angelfire for a genealogical site about four years ago and had no problems linking a secondary page through a list within the front page. But now when I try to do the same thing, Angelfire gives me a message about certain files not being allowed because of viruses. When I requested clarification, the helpdesk said that executable files were banned on their free pages due to virus problems. If I wanted to use an executable file, I'd need to upgrade! What's the use of making a "page 2" if you can't link to it? Why do they even bother to give the instructions if this isn't something that will be allowed to function?
I wonder if the problems you're experiencing are related to this?
