Was/is there some kind of upgrade going on?
I could not access angelfire blogs yesterday. Also my photo albums and my friend's photo albums are not opening.

I couldn't update my blog or photoalbum either lastnight. My cousin couldn't even get the site on his laptop. Glad to hear I'm not the only one having issues.

There was an outage last night (starting around 9:30 PM EDT) which affected blogs and (some) photo albums. (Those parts of the site may also have been slower than normal prior to that time.) The team resolved the issues later on in the evening.

Not much to say about it. We have three upgrades scheduled on different fronts this week to try and prevent future problems and to try and bring site performance for builders up to where we want it. We should have a fix for the MS FrontPage instability today.

Glad to hear things are better. I think it started yesterday morning for me when I tried to update. I couldn't even get into my account page. Everything seems to be back to normal. Also happy to hear that we've got a good team working hard to fix the issues.
