Lisa, you don't have that</embed>to close the <embed>the code should look like this:

<embed src="http://www.classicalmidiconnection.com/cgibin/x.cgi/midi/x/wondrlan.mid" hidden="True"Loop=1>
</embed>

why don't you save the file to your computer and upload the file to your account? here is where you got it from

http://www.westnet.com/Holiday/midi/wondrlan.mid

it will work much better for you.  then change the code to point to your file in your account.

Merry Christmas!

your song can't be found with the addy your using for it, even with the code written correctly.

upload the song to your account and use the code this way

<embed src="https://www.angelfire.com/fl5/lisalk00/wondrlan.mid" hidden="True"Loop=1>
</embed>

or this way if the midi is in your main directory

<embed src="wondrlan.mid" hidden="True"Loop=1>
</embed>

 No Lisa,  you can't add music files to the webshell that way,  that is only for images.

So try this instead because this is the only way your going to be able to get the midi file to your web shell:

Go to here: use that link above  or copy/paste this one.
http://www.westnet.com/Holiday/midi/
Go to  'Winter Wonderland' midi   at the botttom of the list there?

"Do not" left click to open, Lisa.   but "Right/click"  your mouse 'over' the link and choose from the 'drop menu'  to  "Save Link As"  then  save the midi File to your computer's Desktop or  My Documents or  the My Music folder on your computer.  somewhere will it will be easy to find it when you get ready to  upload  it ot your Webshell

Now Then after you save it  go to webshell and 'upload'  it.

Then edit  the <Embed code like I showed you in my first reply above to point to the file.

----------------
Or another way to save music to your computer:  If you have Windows Media Player try this:

open up Windows  Media Player on your computer go to 'File'   in the Players Menu and  choose :  "Open URL"  and then  paste this URL there in the field box.  this will open the sonf in Media Player

http://www.westnet.com/Holiday/midi/wondrlan.mid

Then when the song downloads and  plays,  go to 'File again'  and choose "Save As".  and save it to a folder or your Desktop on your computer.  then upload that file to your account

Hope this helps.  Good Luck

Just a note, Lisa.    I said above    "Save Link As"   Well that is if you use Firefox browser

but the option is  'Save target as'  if your using Internet Explorer browser

you probably would realize that but just thougt I'd mention the difference,  :)

the site http://www.cdbm.com/index.htm doesn't allow hot linking, so you have to move the file to your directory in angelfire and use it.

also- you need to rename the file. %20 means a space was used in the file name. That is an illegal file name and isn't going to fly at AF.
