If you already have a blog it is hard to move it, but you can create a new one but this time where it says name of directory leave it blank, this will make the blog your home page.

Hold on, before creating new blog, make a copy of your front page index.html because creating blog on the front I think it will delete the present index.html

ok. i think today i can try to explain better. I already have my home page done and I want a way I can make it so others can go to this home page and then go to the blog. do i have to make a link to it or can i "cut" the page and make it the second page or what? to explain what i am trying to do. I want to add my thoughts and stuff (on a daily basis like on a blog) easily and not have to keep going and adding new pages and links and doing the html stuff.a blog seems the easiest way to do this am i correct with this thinking.

Just make a link, from the front page to it.
