Angelfire - error 403
Username: Password:
err-or! er-ror - 403!

How do I fix this error message? I see someone back in Oct. had the same problem. I have been trying to update our church website for over a week now. I may be over my space limit, but I can't get to it to delete anything. I have tried everything that Angelfire has suggested.

clearing your browser cache and cookies is the place to start. do that, then close your browser and then re-open and try to log in again. try another browser or another computer. another thing that sometimes works is when you get the 403 error, reload/F5 the page a few times and see if that works.
also be sure you have not changed any browser security settings for restricted sites or allowed sites. have you added any 3rd party firewalls like zone alarm or norton? be sure the settings are not preventing you from accessing AF/lycos server.

also,
there has been a problem with log-ins since Sunday 5/14. do you have an old password that you might have had and have changed it?

support suggets this:
If you are recieving a message stating your username or password is incorrect, try using a password that you previously used, to login to your account (prior to changing it). That should work.

If you do not know your previous password, please visit the service you're using, and use the "Lost Your Password" link to have it sent to you.

hth,
if not post back
