Mood:  not sure

Topic: HTML Questions

Hi All

Been checking out the Site builder and have tested a couple of styles that I like but now what do I do. I have all my pages in my webshell so first tried to copy and paste the source from my webshell pageto the site Builder in html comes up with errors?

So tried the reverse to copy the source in Site Builder to a new file in my webshell but does not work can understand need to upload images but not sure what to do.  Would much prefer to leave in my webshell

Anyone else experiencing these problems

The site builder and web shell are two separate tools, though files for the Site Builder get placed in the web shell file directory, the site builder files aren't meant to be edited via web shell, nor are the web shell files meant to be edited via the site builder.

That's why we posted the "caution text" in the right sidebar of the web shell page.

Currently, the only way to get your current Web Shell site into the Site Builder is to basically re-create your site.

This is an issue we are planning to resolve, but it will take some time to write the code to make it a painless and just as importantly, simple process.

In the mean time, I hope this answers your question, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for this info, is there any update to this process happening? I would be interested in upgrading further if this were possible. I have many pages to the website I began in 1997! A seemless way to integrate them into the web site builder would be awesome.
