Webon and search engines
Mood:  not sure
I have been using webon for a few of my pages a few months now. I have yet to see any of them come up on google, yahoo etc. I filled in all the meta tags and description but still nothing. Has anyone else noticed this?

Have you actually submitted your pages to google to be indexed?  Anyone can put a site online, but unless you're actually being linked to by other sites that google has indexed, or unless you let google know that you exist, they won't know to even look for your page.

At least, that's how I understand how it works?

The pages I build with FrontPage always come up on the first page of the major search engines when someone searches for "water well ministry", "Tarahumara water ministry" etc. I have never had to submit my pages for indexing.  My meta tags, key words and descriptions are right on, but the pages I have done with Angelfire's webon dont show up. I have been doing this for a while now and know how to get my pages a high ranking.

Has anyone's Angelfire webon pages actually showed up on Google,  Yahoo or Bing when searching, using the key words that were placed in their meta tag "keywords list"?
