Webshell Corrupts File
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: Webshell Corrupts My Files
Topic: HTML Questions

Since the redesign of Angelfire, when I save a file, the webshell converts my quotation marks and hyphens to code like this: "Merging into Completeness" becomes “Merging into Completeness,â€Â

Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone know how I can fix it?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

We put a fix out for this exact problem last Friday and made an announcement about it via our Team Blog.

That only happened when I was copy and pasting from Word into the editor.  If I copy and pasted from notepad, I never had my quotes get all weird.
