Page Views (2 questions)
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Americas Most Wanted

How do the page views work? Is it from yesterday or today? I only look at my page at least twice a day but yesterday it said that I had 23 and today it said I had 17. I'm so confused?

Thanks in advanced.

PS

Does anyone know how to fix my Mozilla issue? I'm trying to keep my passwords saved (hotmail, facebook, youtube, google,) but every time that I close out my Mozilla, I have to resign in. I checked my privacy and it's on when it expires not when I close Mozilla. I know you have to resign in every two week, but I have to resign in every day at least.

Thanks in advance.

Page views counts are for the last 30 days counting back from the present, meaning more or less right now. So yesterday's total had a different 30 days being counted than the total shown in today's count. The counts may also update several times a day so they can change throught the day as well.

Page views can go up or down depending on the traffic for the 30 day period being reported. If you had less page views today then you had on the day that was 31 days ago, then your count will go down.

re cookies- You should also check your browser preferences to see if your private data is cleared when the browser is closed.

That said, if the cookies being used are session cookies, then they will be lost when the browser is closed no matter what you do. If you can ID the cookie being used for login then you should be able to see if it is a session cookie vs. a persistent cookie by checking it in your browser's cookie prefs screen. I have a feeling the ones used for login here are session cookies, not persistent ones. What you describe has never been any different for me.

You can tell the browser to remember your login info so it is easy enough to relog in when needed. That should be a pref in your browser as well.
