Using FTP

I want to download my website files from the webshell for backup purposes.

I'm not at all familiar with ftp and am having trouble using it.

I have the Firefox browser 'Fireftp' add on, but even though I have tried various combinations of the Angelfire url I can't seem to be able to connect so as to access my website files.

Can anyone tell me what form of address I should be actually typing into the 'account'  so as to link me up with my files?

Thanks for any advice.

Hello,

I have a SIMPLE FTP Client program, and from left to right,
you should list as follows:

FTP (account): ftp.angelfire.com
USERNAME: trek/nz_usa
PASSWORD: ?

Thanks for the reply Tom. I entered that info but what I eventually get is two screens (one with my pc files displayed on the left  and another alongside which is blank and does not show any of my webshell files.

A message also appears giving my login name and saying 'welcome to angelfire ftp' but  no files!

OK. Managed to do  FTP by using the ftp function in Internet Explorer  - much simpler!
