Thumbnails not displaying right.
Topic: Image Questions

Hope someone can help me!!  I created a webpage and put some pics on it.  I used Mihov Gallery Creator to create the thumbnail images.  When I put them on my page they display correctly on Firefox but when I go to my page using IE 8 there are no images at all.  Is there something I need to do to display the thumbnails on IE?

Thanks in advance

IN IE click on tools, select Internet options, advance tab and look for multimedia, see if show images or pictures is checked.

Also check if the privacy is set too high.

I sure don't, it is the browser not the site that causing it. I am an IE hater.

I think this is the problem- some of your html code for links is slightly off and missing a closing bracket after the image name in the a href tag as in this code on your "tack" page

<a href="800_00361626.jpg"<img src="mini-800_00361626.jpg".....

should be

<a href="800_00361626.jpg"><img src="mini-800_00361626.jpg".....

I noticed this on several of your pages including one image on your home page. All the errors are in the same spot. Check the code for each image that does not display for you in IE8.

Hope that helps

Thank you very much, that fixed it.  I wrote the tag exactly as I was told using a thumbnail creator site.  It worked on firefox so I assumed it was goos for IE also.  Thanks though for seeing that and pointing it out.

Hi there,

Could it be related to your security settings on IE.  Explorer browsers tend to be very dirty and disease ridden these days.
