Proxy Error
I keep getting the following error messages, at home and at work so it's not my computer or ISP

I get get out of it by refreshing a few times but folks going to my blog may not bother to try that.

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /ky/kentuckydan/CommitteesofCorrespondence/index.blog .
Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: No route to host

Hello

I have noticed the same thing, for the past week
on this blog.

Also, am unable to access the HTML Gear 'Gear Manager',
getting the same Proxy Error Message.

Looks like there may be problems in Lycosland.....

For those of you, who have HTML GEAR Guestbooks, and
are unable to enter the GEAR MANAGER, to delete unwanted
SPAM, I suggest that you post the following Disclaimer on
your guestbook:

PLEASE NOTE: WE APOLOGISE TO OUR VISITORS, FOR ANY SPAM WHICH MAY BE FOUND ON OUR GUESTBOOK.

THE SERVER IS EXPERIENCING TEMPORARY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, AND WE ARE THEREFORE UNABLE TO ENTER OUR ACCOUNT MANAGER, IN ORDER TO DELETE ANY UNWANTED MESSAGES.

In addition, I would also send an email to: support_htmlgear_ls@support.terralycos.com
outlining the problem, copying and pasting the following:

====================================================

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, support_htmlgear_ls@support.terralycos.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

RE: Previous Message

As you will see from the following, the support email address, provided in my previous message, is non-functional.

In that case, we can only hope that someone from Angelfire/Lycos Team will read these messages on the A/F Blog, and rectify the issue.

Please forget about my previous postings on this issue.

I had bookmarked the 'gear manager', which was bringing
up an error page. However, when I tried to access the
service through: http://www.htmlgear.lycos.com/ I had
no problem.

Sorry about that.
