domain won't forward to angelfire website

my domain name of http://www.thegoddessisin.com won't forward to https://www.angelfire.com/moon2/thegoddessisin

In fact, unless I am logged in to angelfire, I cannot view my website at all.  People typing in either address get 404 error.

 What could be wrong?

Actually, your domain name DOES seem to forward to your AF account because when you use the domain name URL it goes to your AF URL. So it appears there is no default html page file. Did you name your homepage index.html? (all lower case) That's required.

Or could you have put your site it in a subdirectory? If so then you need to point the domain name to that subdirectory. And again, an index.html default homepage will be needed in that subdirectory.

If neither of those things fixes your problem and you still need help, what is the URL of your site that you can view when logged in? When you view the live page, what URL shows in your browser location bar?

The angelfire url is https://www.angelfire.com/moon2/thegoddessisin

I have an index.html file listed in my web shell.

I see the problem! Your domain name is pointed at the wrong address.

It's set to: https://www.angelfire.com/moon2/thegodessisin

But your website is: https://www.angelfire.com/moon2/thegoddessisin/

Notice that your website has two d's in "goddess".
