Could not update my web site

Thanks for the advice. When I checked, I discovered that not only were my FP extensions not functioning properly, my FrontPage was disabled.
Here's what I did:

Went to “My account” and scrolled down to “Preferences.” That's when I discovered “Microsoft FrontPage disabled.” I Clicked on “enable” and then went on to successfully update my site.

How did my FP get disabled? I have NO idea! But...oh, well, the important thing is, my site is finally updated. Thanks all.

For nearly 2 weeks I've been trying to update my site, www.angelfire.com/sk3/shirleyken, also known as www.shirleykennedy.com. No problems in the past, but now get the message:
Angelfire - Error 403
Username: Password: err-or! er-ror - 403! Forbidden

It also tells me my site does not exist (it does) and it says, 'URL "SK3" is not contained within a FP web.'

I use FrontPage with the extensions.

I have e-mailed the "Help" section five times and have yet to receive an answer. Any advice?

Hi i jus created my website www.angelfire.com/droid/shadowlord yesterday and people are havin real problems accesing it coz it ask 4 a username and password when they try to view it,its really anoying for people who visit the website and when u build a website u wanan make sure that the guests who visit it enjoy the website and don come across any problems i wanna know how to fix the issue permanently .please help me u can email me at rovulives@hotmail.com

I need some help getting my pages going can some one be nice enough to help me? I got my website set but i am sooo confused on what to do like when i upload images how do i put them on my pages for other people to use? i have aim and yahoo if someone would be so kind as to walk me through it my yahoo name and aim name is AlistaHugs02 same for both so if someone can help please im me or post thank you so much :)

We have five websites up and running under the same user a/c all built on frontpage. We can see all of them working fine from our pc but others can only view one or two. Most people can see knuckleduster.org our main site (but not all) Few can see our others barelyconnolly.com mrbensmrmen.com or rayjamesmanyfaces.com
Some days they can see them, some days they can't.
Whats wrong? Is it the server at fault or some sort of error we have made that allows some pc's to view the sites but others not to?
Does Angelfire have a technical help email addy?

i got the site up and running. i wanted to create a list off to the side somwhere and i made the lists up. now the question is how on earth do i get it to actually show up on the site? i have tried editing and everything...short of deleting it all and starting over, i don't know how to do it...any ideas?

OK it helped alot to be writing the correct Url. So Is there anyone else thats have the problem with see the Pictures because when I type it in and go to the site. It appears correct on my computer. If the problem is, What Should I do to fix that so other people can see my site?

OK Hi I'm new too but I'm figuring everything about html writing just fine. My index and 2nd page are pretty much finished and I plan on working on them as time goes on.
Ok, now whenever I type in URL it doesn't take me to my site. Does anyone know why this could be? It takes me to an angelfire.com caution site. www.angelfire.com/hero2/akbornideas.com is supposed to be the website. I did get the email already and logged in using it and can log in and out with no problem but when i want to show the site to someone else they can't see it and unless I'm logged in i can't see it either. DO I have to pay for an account in order for other people to see it? thanks allen

I'm new and trying to figure out something. I went to Edit my html code, I viewed it, it looked right and pushed the save button. How come when I visit the site it still just says angelfire all over it? Am I not saving it correctly or is there a period of time I must wait before I see the work? Please help.

I have added a link to my page and on the homepage it shows correctly Melodyspoems: that is with an s at the end , and under 2 of the sites also in the drop dawn box if you go to A miracle in the eyes of God, then try to go in Melodyspoems it doesn't bring up the correct page, it says Melodyspoem: with out an s , but if you view source and also look in editor it shows the correct file name with an s but it isn't showing the correct page : it says it is saved but it isn't bringing it up on some pages but it is on others and everything is the same

Hi All,
Maybe someone had some experience with that...
I built a site using frontpage 2003, and uploaded it to my home directory using ftp clinet.
It uploaded everithing except it didn't let me create any _vti_cnf subdirectories which are part of the FP sites projects. It said: "Permission denied".
My account is FP enabled.

Any advice???

Hi Angelfire Blog Members,

Lately [the past few days], I've noticed that
my Angelfire page doesn't always download.

All I see, is the TOP and BOTTOM
Advertising Banners...with no page
content in between.

Only after refreshing the page a few times,
does the content finally appear. This seems
to be an intermittent issue and NOT confined
to my particular website.

I have found the same thing happening
on other Angelfire member pages.

This problem is not a new one. In October 2004
an identical issue came up, and persisted
for over one month, until it apparently
corrected itself.

Ar that time, I went through a lot of email
correspondence with:

Mike was very helpful, loading the page on several
different computers, however, he couldn't find anything wrong.

[Incidentally, I am attempting to load

I am very excited to create my own website. So far so good, except I can't put links on page 2,3,4 &5 to navigate to the other pages from them. You have to keep using the browser "back" button. I am using the basic set-up, and my page layouts vary. For example...a "list" page doesn't give me anywhere to put links to any of my other pages.
I need some help in simple english!

Front Page 2002 Problems

Does anyone here have problems uploading Front Page 2002 Webs? I have spent two hours trying to get this doggone thing to upload a web. The basic problem, I think, is trying to get the server extensions enabled. The first little part on Angelfire takes you to a page saying to open a Web folder in My Computer. I have no web folder in My computer. The only Web folder is one I have for the web, and I can double click it to death, and not receive the info Anglefire says in there? the instructions for this make no sense...Anyone with help or a suggestion on how to make this thing work is appreciated... Yes...I have contacted Angelfire, but no response in the last two hours...? PS: And yes, I have looked over all the FAQ, the help and on and on and on.... Thanks, Mac
