Uploading HTML code from Notepad to my Website
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: HTML Questions
I am new to the creating code and a website.  I need to figure out how to put my HTML code from notepad into my website.  I can't use the editor function with Angelfire it has to be handwritten code thru Notepad.  I've searched the internet and I'm sure it's easier than I'm making it but can't seem to figure it out.

Yep, angelfire.com stopped letting free users log in using FTP or even edit their website content directly using HTML. Now they have their own website editor which is very limited at most. So I finally decided to pay for their services and I am quite satisfied although I wonder if I should have asked someone else who is utilizing their server first...

Did you try copy and paste, or save the file as (name).html and upload it from the webshell and link it.

I usually save the file in html, then open it in browser, select all, copy and then paste it into angelfire editor. Works well for me

Hold up, so Angelfire won't let users edit their HTML in free accounts? Since when? I haven't updated my account in I don't know how many years.. I've been a member since 2000. Ancient. :) I learned how to code more efficeintly using EditPad Lite vs Notepad. Editpad you can clearly see what is code and what isn't. Just easier to read, is all.

Are you still able to copy + paste code via Notepad into Angelfire webshell for the file/page you're building? If not, that's crap and I better be able to move everything from my account to another place.
