thumbnails aren't showing
Topic: FrontPage
I just put a page together with thumbnails but they aren't showing. If you click on the outline it will load the full sized picture.

When I inserted the images I used the auto-thumbnail feature on Frontpage 2002.

Any suggestions?

First make sure the thumbnails were uploaded. They should be listed in your main directory in your webshell. If they aren't listed, then they need to be uploaded there.

Hi,

Compliments of the Season!

I have never used Frontpage, so am unfamiliar with
how it works, however I tried to load your first thumbnail
@ URL: https://www.angelfire.com/mn3/dnrdocuments/Hay1_small.jpg
and it produced a 404 message, which means that you haven't
uploaded the thumbnail to your webshell.

The URL for the full sized image:
https://www.angelfire.com/mn3/dnrdocuments/Hay1.jpg
works fine. So, I guess, all you have to do is upload the thumbnail files to your webshell and everything will be OK.

LOL

CW & I must have been here around the same time.
If I would have seen the response, I would have refrained from putting in my two cents.

Thanks for the help.

Where do I find the thumbnail? When I insert it in the page it is full size and then I auto thumbnail it. I don't see any thumbnails in my folder. Does Frontpage make a separate thumbnail file somewhere?

I wish I could help, but I have never used Frontpage,
so don't know how it works. Maybe CW or some other
experienced blogger may be able to help.

Hang in there.

I managed to find a URL which will be helpful to you.
It explains the procedure involved with inserting

Thanks. I'll check it out.

I checked my website visits and see lot so small jpegs loaded when someone visits the site but am not sure if that means.

Tom's link must have helped! Your thumbnails are displaying now :) If you can't see them, clear your browser cache and reload the page.

I just rechecked my folder and for some reason the small jpegs were there. I loaded them and it works fine.

Thanks for the help.
